Sears MasterCard Statements
Have you ever received a bank statement and seen any charges that you were unaware of? Sometimes, reading them can be confusing and it leaves customers with a lot of questions. Well, retail department stores have statements that run the same as any bank statement would. This is a good thing because you have the option of checking out your statement if you feel that there has been any suspicious activity on your account.
You can take a look at the Sears MasterCard Statement and see at which store the transaction has been made, what time and what the items were. You have the option of doing this because you have a special account with them!
Note that every time a check is written anywhere it is supposed to be recorded into the check register and a duplicate is made of each of these checks with each transaction. A safety measure like this is just as important if you were to swipe your Sears MasterCard. Copies are made of all of these transactions so that you can prevent anyone from stealing your money and credit score! Statements allow for companies to keep tally on your account, balances, overdrafts, etc. Fortunately, you can see all of these statements on your Sears account immediately when you log on.
Banks will correct any unauthorized transactions on your card if that is the case; although, it would be very difficult for someone else to use your card at a local store when ids are deliberately asked for at the counter. Fraud happens more so over the internet or through credit card applications.
The Sears credit card statements are going to illustrate the transactions that have been made, where they’ve been made, at which time and how much of a balance it is that you have on your card. Statements are evidence papers if anyone were to use your card without your authority. Know that you have access to these at all times and that it will benefit you heavily if you save all of your statements.
Although the bank is going to correct any statement if you notify them, it’s better to do it sooner than later. There is a time limit if any damage is going to be undone. The banks mistake will become your mistake if you don’t take care of it quickly – that is the same for any retail store, especially because you’re using a credit card.
