Up until recently the only credit card Sears issued was their own Sears charge card, the only place you could use the card was in a Sears store or to shop at Sears.com. Recently they have decided to join with many other stores and in conjunction with Citi Bank issue a Sears MasterCard. You can of course still obtain and use the Sears Card, their MasterCard is however, a far more flexible credit card and like any other MasterCard can be used anywhere that accepts credit cards.

When you have a Sears MasterCard, you will receive monthly mailings with special discounts and coupons that are only sent to those who have this card. They offer a program that will allow you to access your credit score any time you need to for as long as you choose to participate in their Credit Score Access program. This program is subject to certain terms and conditions that are explained on their website.
